Anyone playing Elite Dangerous?

I just got the game off the last Steam sale for a awesome price so I couldn't pass it up. I was wondering who else is playing it or has it. I know Deejayknight has it and is playing it a lot. The goal would be to the team or Origin community involved in some kind of event or squad play would be awesome. Space pirating at its finest! Origin PC would rule the wide open space. What does everyone think? Especially with the new expansion dropping on Tuesday with planet landings it could be interesting.

One of these days you guys will all play something I already have lol.... tis not this game though!
